My dad would always leave me with you and your constant projects are what kept me curious about technology. Looking back at it now I am very glad I was able to see you most Sundays and got to talk to you about your work and the freedom you have as an independent worker.
I recommend Charell Williams without hesitation to any position where his technology knowledge and skills will be served. He carries himself as a professional, treats others with kindness and respect, and his content knowledge is impressive.
Charell truly cares and has compassion for students. He always gives his own time to support students and is an amazing role model for them. I'm very impressed with his commitment to his job and continuing his education.
Charell is especially gifted when working with students having social skills and emotion regulation difficulties. He is a strong, consistent presence in students' lives. There is no doubt in my mind that Charell will be an excellent addition to your staff.
He has a way to engage and find commonality with anyone, making everyone he interacts with feel like they are important. Helping others is his passion — you can see the joy in his face when he is helping students.
Every program, partnership, and workshop is shaped by one person's commitment to making technology accessible and youth development real.
Charell Williams is a technologist, strategist, and community builder operating at the intersection of innovation and impact. Born and raised in Watts, Los Angeles, Charell brings a rare combination of street-level perspective and executive-level execution to everything he builds.
With a background spanning aeronautics, international marketing, IT services, device repair, and youth education, Charell founded TechSavvy Solutions to bridge the gap between emerging technology and the communities that need access to it most. His mobile-first approach means he brings the equipment, the expertise, and the energy directly to schools, nonprofits, and community organizations across Washington State.
Charell's tech journey began at Circuit City's SoHo department — selling cutting-edge computers when 133MHz processors and Windows 95 represented the pinnacle of personal computing. That foundation led him to one of the most unique roles in tech history: as a Xerox employee stationed at Walt Disney World EPCOT's Technology Exhibit during the historic 1999 Millennium Celebrations. There, he showcased Xerox's most forward-thinking innovations — including the DocuStamp and E-paper — to guests from around the world. Because he was interacting daily with Disney guests, he completed Disney Traditions training, holding himself to the gold standard of customer experience that Disney is famous for worldwide.
As a former Chess Wizards instructor, certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid, and currently serving in a peer support role within the behavioral health sector, Charell understands that real youth development requires more than technology — it requires presence, patience, and genuine investment in people.
His philosophy is simple: "Move with intent. Every piece on the board has a purpose."
We believe every child deserves access to the tools that build their mind and open their future. Through chess and technology, we develop critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators in underserved communities.
Teaching discipline, patience, and strategic thinking through competitive chess programs.
Exposing youth to VR, AI, and drones — the technologies shaping their future careers.
Prioritizing underserved communities that need access most but have had it least.
What if the stars had something to say about the way you play chess? In this one-of-a-kind book, Charell Williams bridges the ancient wisdom of astrology with the strategic depth of chess — revealing how each zodiac sign's traits, tendencies, and blind spots show up on the board. Whether you're an aggressive Aries charging the center or a methodical Virgo controlling every square, your sign may be your greatest untapped advantage.

Every STEAM program we deliver is built on the same foundation — strategic thinking. Chess teaches students to plan ahead, adapt under pressure, and think like problem solvers. Challenge a named opponent and see why we build everything on this.
